End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a contract between you and the operator of homesearchsail (referred to here as “we,” “us,” or the “Provider”). It governs your access to and use of the homesearchsail search page and any associated features (together, the “Service”). By opening, installing, or otherwise using the Service, you accept every term below. If any term is unacceptable to you, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Does

homesearchsail presents a lightweight search page. When you enter a query and submit it, the Service forwards that query to an independent third-party search provider, which returns and displays results. The Service may also offer inline query suggestions supplied by a separate third-party provider as you type. We do not ourselves operate a search index; we route your request to partners who do.

2. License Granted to You

Subject to your continued compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable permission to use the Service for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes. Ownership of the Service, including its layout, code, text, and marks, remains with us or our licensors. Nothing here transfers any intellectual property to you.

3. Conditions of Use

You agree that you will not:

• copy, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or the systems it connects to;
• use the Service to transmit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful material, or to violate the rights of any third party;
• remove or obscure any notice of ownership, or misrepresent your affiliation with us; or
• employ any automated means to scrape, mine, or harvest content delivered through the Service.

4. Third-Party Search and Suggestion Partners

Results, advertisements, and suggestions you see through the Service originate from independent third parties. Those parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices, over which we have no control and for which we accept no responsibility. Your interaction with any third-party result, link, or advertisement is solely between you and that party.

5. How the Service Is Supported

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported through arrangements with our search partners. When your query is forwarded, an identifier may accompany it so that the resulting activity can be attributed for these support arrangements. This is a normal part of how the Service is funded and does not add any cost to you.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any result returned by a third party will be accurate or suitable.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

8. Suspension and Termination

This Agreement stays in force while you use the Service. You may end it at any time by ceasing to use and removing the Service. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, or terminate your permission to use it, at any time and without prior notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

9. Changes to This Agreement

We may revise this Agreement from time to time. Revisions take effect when the updated text is made available through the Service. Your continued use after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. General

If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. This Agreement is the entire understanding between you and us regarding the Service and supersedes any prior understanding on the subject.
